+ The method

How it works

Renovation dust is fine and gets into everything. We work top to bottom so it doesn't resettle.

01

Clear

Leftover packaging, protective film, stickers, adhesive residue and paint specks come off first.

02

Dust down

Ceilings, fans, walls, skirting, ledges and light fittings — the high surfaces most people miss.

03

Wipe through

Surfaces, fittings, cabinetry, windows and floors, cleaned in sequence so nothing gets recontaminated.

04

Extract

Fine dust vacuumed out of corners, window tracks, grilles and joinery gaps where it settles deepest.

05

Final walkthrough

We check the unit with you before we leave. Anything missed gets done on the spot.

Optional add-ons

Two upgrades for homes that need more than a surface clean.

01

Floor scrubbing

Professional machine scrubbing that lifts embedded renovation debris from vinyl, tile and wood surfaces and restores their natural finish. For vinyl and wooden floors, a light polish is applied afterwards to protect and refine the surface.

Best for: cement haze, grout film, or floors that still feel gritty after mopping.

02

Formaldehyde treatment

High-pressure spray equipment applies an even coating across furniture surfaces, neutralising formaldehyde — a common off-gassing chemical found in new cabinetry, flooring and adhesives. Readings are taken before and after, so you can see the difference for yourself. Our removal coating is imported from Japan, selected for its quality and reliability.

Best for: homes with young children, elderly family members, or anyone sensitive to indoor air quality.

+ Good to know

Before we arrive

A few things that help us do the job properly.

  • All renovation works should be complete — including hacking, tiling, painting and carpentry touch-ups. If contractors are still working, dust will resettle after we leave.
  • Book before furniture delivery — the unit is easiest, and cheapest, to clean while it's empty.
  • Water and electricity must be live — we need both on site to run our equipment.
  • Bulky debris should be cleared — contractors are responsible for removing construction waste, offcuts and packaging pallets.
  • Allow 3–6 hours — depending on unit size and condition. We'll confirm the window when you book.

+ Scope limits

What's not included

  • Removal of construction debris, offcuts or renovation waste
  • Cement, grout or paint that has hardened and bonded to a surface (may require the contractor to rectify)
  • Mould remediation or water damage restoration
  • Dismantling of fixtures, fittings or built-ins
  • External window cleaning above ground level
  • Chemical stripping or resurfacing of damaged floors

No surprises

If something falls outside our scope, we'll flag it during the walkthrough rather than surprise you with a charge.

+ Questions

Frequently asked

How soon after renovation should I book?

Once all works are complete and before your furniture arrives. That's the sweet spot.

Do I need to be present?

Not for the whole session, but we recommend being there for the final walkthrough.

Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?

Yes — everything, including machinery, chemicals and water containers if needed.

Is formaldehyde treatment really necessary?

It depends on how much new cabinetry and flooring went in. Off-gassing is highest in the first few months. If you have young children or anyone with respiratory sensitivity at home, it's worth doing.

Are your cleaners trained and insured?

Yes. All our teams are trained in-house and we carry public liability coverage.
